Goodbye Graffiti™ Canada Summit – Huge Success!

October 4th-6th 2017, Goodbye Graffiti™ Corporate offices gathered some of our best minds and met in Toronto, Ontario.  President of Goodbye Graffiti™ Canada Kendra Klemke and Vice President of Operations Katie Lee hosted the Summit which brought our team together to share in their success and challenges of the last year.  The team reviewed operational structure, role responsibility, key performance indicators, direct impact, environmental policies and our mobile applications.  In addition to meetings with sales and management teams from Goodbye Graffiti™ Vancouver, Goodbye Graffiti™ Toronto West and Goodbye Graffiti™ Montreal our Corporate Trainer Lisa Stoll was able to certify three new Graffiti Removal Technicians. In addition to the long hours around the boardroom table, the group was able to bond over the celebration of 20 years in business with food, drinks, and fun! We are so proud of this group and can not wait to see what they accomplish in 2018!

20 years in business – Where did it all begin?

Goodbye Graffiti™ began in 1997 in Vancouver, BC when Perri Domm was asked by his strata council to look into getting the graffiti removed from the building. He quickly discovered that there were no graffiti removal companies in Canada and that no one was offering any kind of system that would keep a building clean once the graffiti had been removed.   It was from this innocuous beginning that Goodbye Graffiti™ Inc. was born.

Setting his sights on these two distinct problems, “getting it off” and “keeping it off”, Perri started out with a power washer, a used truck, and many different paint removal products. After much trial and error, he became acutely aware that there was no single “wonder” formula because graffiti comes in many forms and is on many different surfaces, and he would require a full range of products to facilitate its removal. This is how Perri came up with the idea to produce the GR (Graffiti Removal) Product Line called Graffiti Town Products. This multi-product system would quickly become the only comprehensive graffiti removal system available in the world.

Goodbye Graffiti™ produces a proprietary line of unique SuperGreen™ graffiti removal products that are capable of removing all types of graffiti from all substrates. In 2002 we developed and introduced a system that allows our Technicians to repair window glass that has been damaged by the rapidly growing problem of vandalism caused by the scratching and etching of graffiti into the glass. This capability has rounded off our product line and positioned Goodbye Graffiti™ with the most multifaceted anti-graffiti arsenal in the world.

With the problem of “getting it off” dealt with, Perri turned his attention to “keeping it off” knowing that this would only be the long-term solution to this growing problem.  The backbone of this mission statement is quick, 100% removal 100% of the time with zero damage to the surface.  This zero tolerance approach, called The Ever-Clean™ Program, is now applied to over hundreds of thousands of buildings and assets across Canada.

Another Win this Weekend!

Congrats to our girls on another win this weekend!

Our game today was against Richmond Hill. Our team had a difficult time moving the ball up the field and keeping possession as well as making accurate passes along the midfield. Second half we played more defensive which prevented us from scoring goals. During the last 20 minutes, we came back strong and attacked the net with some very hard shots and eventually scored a goal which was by Dora. Our defenders Abby and Emily Wilson had played strong and worked well to get the ball out of our box. In our mid, Cadence and Alieya did well moving the ball up the line to give us those scoring opportunities. Our forwards Christina and Chrissy played hard attacking the net and put in some great crosses for us to attempt to score. Overall we could have played better, but in the end, we were able to pull out a win which will help us in our division.

Another Great Game!

Sept 16 vs Hamilton

This weekend we traveled down the QEW to face Hamilton. We started the game off well, gaining the majority of possessions over the ball in their half. We were passing and making forward runs, which ultimately resulted in our first goal where Christina G. scored off a PK by placing the ball into the corner. She also scored the second goal of the game due to a breakaway later in the quarter. Finally, in the last two-quarters of the game, we held our shape, stayed strong and prevented them from getting any scoring chances. In the end, the whistle was blown and we won the game 2-0.

Latest Game is a 1-1 Tie!

This evening was an important game for us in a back to back with NTSC. I feel that we had an intense and focused warm up leading into the game itself. This set us in a good mindset and I believe we were prepared for this important match. We played a good first quarter and had some good chances on goal. We managed to score on a rebound from a free kick in the box, and we did not let that leading goal slow down our focus and play. We held our play and lead until the middle of the second quarter when NTSC tied the game. I think we could have avoided that goal if our second effort to win the ball back was stronger, however the weather conditions made it tough for our defence and goalie to stop that goal. Nonetheless, their efforts were excellent. The third and forth quarters were both well fought and intense. We pressed the play and we managed to ignore the heavy rain. We had some good chances to score however we need to start capitalizing on our opportunities. As a team, we tried our best despite the weather/playing conditions, and the “noise” from the NTSC parents and players. We were aggressive, played smart, held more possession, and are ready for the rematch and a win against NTSC on Saturday!

Goodbye Graffiti™ proud to announce 2nd year of sponsorship of 2003 OPDL Girls

Goodbye Graffiti™ proud to announce 2nd year of sponsorship of 2003 OPDL Girls.  Our Sponsorship with the girls last year was a wonderful partnership and we were happy to sign up once again.  The girls are three games into the season and doing great.  We hope to be out on the sidelines cheering them on this year.

The game three report comes to us from Noemie:

This weekend we played Unionville. We lost 2-1 but we still played a good game. Our first two thirds we played quite well. As soon as we stepped in the field for the third third we kind of fell apart but came back for the last and finale third. Our movements on the ball and off the ball was amazing. We could’ve created more opportunities  to get more shots on net since we only had 7 shots and only 3 of those were on net. The defenders were strong at the back. My favourite play of the game was when Christina did an amazing corner kick and Cadence went for the header. She headed the ball but sadly it did not go in. Overall we had a good  and physical game hopefully we’ll start up again our winning streak next week let’s go stingers!
